Late late late late late post!

Ive been too busy with cycling and life to actually sit down and do any updates. I've been racing all season and I had my last race last weekend. I'm done! Finished! While the season is over, my cycling career is just starting. I managed enough points to apply for my CAT 3 upgrade and I received the approval two days ago. So yes, I am officially a category 3 road racer.

I updated the races totals on the right side of the blog over there -->
and here is a quick recap of my season since I'm too lazy to update my blog as the races happen:

I'm really excited that the season is over because I was starting to burn out a little towards the end and now I get to take a little time off before hitting the training hard. I've really got to work on my base for next year. I'm going to poke around for advice and tips for weight training to strengthen my legs a little bit to improve my climbing. My sprint is still as potent as ever so I'm not too worried about working on that.

Ive bought a new mountain bike that I'm going to be using in the group rides this fall. I honestly can't wait to get out and hit the trail with the rest of the guys. It's going to be a blast for sure!
